September in Willistown: Miniature Sicilian Donkey!
If the Greentree Country Fair is not scrubbed again for inclement weather, there will be plenty of interesting animals in the petting zoo.
Update: This event has been postponed yet again due to inclement weather. It will be merged with Okehocking Fall Fest on Saturday, Sept. 17.
Last week, Malvern Patch explained that would feature . Unfortunately, the threat of nasty weather forced the Parks Department to postpone the fair one week.
The good news is that the postponement allowed for Sleepy Valley Horse Farm to provide a list of animals that will comprise the petting zoo. This is assuming the event is not rained out again—the current forecast calls for evening showers. So, without further ado:

The Animals of the Greentree Country Fair Petting Zoo:
- a miniature Argentinian llama or Peruvian alpaca
- a miniature Sicilian donkey
- several woolly sheep
- several breeds of friendly goats
- exotic chickens and ducks
- hand-tamed bunny rabbits
- Indian fantail doves
And, of course... - two ponies, giving pony rides.
