I was excited to finally get the answer to one of these..We all got it! It is a beautiful stone house and I hope someone saves it. I have always thought a restaurant would be nice there.

Congrats to me - I finally got one! As a resident who moved here as an adult I so enjoy seeing these old photos. Thanks!

My cousin's husband says that he doesn't remember anyone ever living there in his 62 years of Malvern life. Is that so? I'd just love to go in and talk to the ghosts! :-)

yes, an easy one but great comments! Linden Hall, the state DOT cut down the Linden trees years ago. And Sextons! They had the BEST soft ice cream---i vividly remember spilling my soupy cone on my mom's suede jacket in about 1963. In the late seventies, Mr. Paulovich lived there all by himself...was inside once. It is a gem just waiting to be restored. The land behind was approved for a shopping center in the mid 1990s but it never happened....at that time the developer hoped to make the house a restaurant, bank or offices.

Route 30 and 352. Photographed it for my blog a few months ago. In deplorable condition and a total sin as it was beautiful. A little farther east you see the old house rotting next to Clews & Strawbridge and a little farther west, Loch Aerie.
