Former Devon Prep Teacher Facing Child Porn…

Where Were These Photos Taken?

The photo was taken in 1979, but the building dates back to the beginning of the 19th century.

Do you recognize the building pictured above? The photo, provided by the East Whiteland Historical Commission, was taken in 1979, but the building was constructed in 1812.

The building in the featured photo above—the one with the cars—is still standing today, but the building in the second photo is not. Extra credit goes to whoever can identify both buildings, and the relationship between them.

Can you guess where the photo was taken? Submit your answers in the comments, and we'll post the answer with a current photo next Wednesday.

Agree with Lorraine. This is the site of the Jeff D'Ambrosio car dealership. The other picture is very familiar, but can't remember the details.

The first is the Jeff D'Ambrosio car dealership. The second looks like the school that used to be there in the 1930's timeframe.

1st. Jeff D'Ambrosio property (then owned by his parents). 2nd. This is a guess ... where STS auto service is located.

1. Current Home of the Sparrow in Frazer on Swedesford. 2. I remember a second building there, but since I don't recall what either were originally for, but I will venture something with Church Farm School.

The first is definitely still standing at the D'ambrosio site. The second I'm pretty sure stood somewhere on the same side of rt 30 right near there. It might have stood just to the right of the D'ambrosio lot on what is now the little strip of stores. But not 100% sure.

I see on a1912 map that the Chester County Academy and Frazer School were on that spot.
