Where Were These Photos Taken?

It was in the Malvern area, circa 1956—but where exactly? Register your answer (or guess) in the comments.

Update 4/14/12: To clarify the hints below: The house in the photos above is in ruins, but the barn in the barn in the last picture (the right-most thumbnail) is still standing.

The above photographs, provided by the East Whiteland Historical Commission, were taken in 1956. The house pictured is no longer standing (see note above).

one of the pictures looks like the house at the end of King st on 352..but not sure

This is the house at the intersection where King St meets Rt 352.

Caption says it's no longer standing, a tough one! Wild guess, the house in ruins today on Rte 30 behind the barn that used to be the Importer? The house looks bigger than the ruins though so this guess is a real longshot.
