Wine, Cheese and Art at Malvern Retreat House Friday

The Retreat House will also host art demonstrations Thursday and Friday as part of its inaugural art show, which runs through Sunday.

Malvern Retreat House will host a wine and cheese reception as part of its inaugural Friday night. There's no admission fee, and more than 80 artists will be represented at the show.

From the MRH Facebook page:

Many artists whose works are being exhibited will attend our First Friday wine and cheese, 5-8 p.m., at our inaugural ART SHOW. Admission is free. Please join us. The show runs Wednesday through Sunday.

Matiko Mamaladze demonstrates her palate-knife painting technique on  Thursday, February 2, 1 p.m.-3 p.m., while attendees taste an exquisite peach pastry, a typical treat from the former Soviet Union. Cost is $30 with advance registration suggested.

Judy Antonelli demonstrates her new technique of pastel over watercolor painting, on Friday, Feb 3, 1-3 p.m.  Refreshments are  included in the $15 fee.

Richard Bollinger presents Vignettes in Art and Life on Friday, Feb. 3, at 7:30 p.m.
