Calling all MALE & FEMALE runners, swimmers, cyclists, and INTERMEDIATE TO ADVANCED fitness enthusiasts. Your body NEEDS Interval training! If you want to take your fitness to the next level or regain that ebbing strength or speed, this is the class for you!
This workout is geared toward rev-ing up your metabolism, breaking you out of your box and moving you 360 degrees to work cardio, strength, balance, and agility. After a short warm up the class consists of multiple blocks of 20 – 40 second intervals of high intensity body weight exercises followed by a cool down and stretch period.
These exercises Include large multi-muscle movements, quick balance positions, long,lean Extension exercises and agility and mobility training all using your own body weight. Squats, lunges, push ups, burpees and, planks take center stage. Each is class is unique using many effective variations of these exercises. Bender balls, Resistance bands and Gliding Disks are used to “up the game” for more advanced movement and variation.
Note: please bring a yoga mat or towel and water to class!
