Paoli Battlefield Preservation Fund presents A Revolutionary Lecture Series

Dr. Benjamin Church, Spy, A Case of Espionage on the Eve of the American Revolution.

Presented by John A. Nagy - Noted author John A. Nagy returns to our series with his latest book on Espionage in the Revolution. Dr. Church was appointed by Washington as Chief Physician and Director General of the Medical Service of the Continental Army.  He was also active in Boston's Sons of Liberty before the war, however early in the war, Church was also sending secret information to British General Thomas Gage.

Dine and Discuss at the General Warren Inne, the tavern that played an important role in the Battle of Paoli. Feast on special Early American cuisine from this Zagat top rated restaurant while listening and interacting with noted historians, authors, and others in the revolutionary period.
