National Girl Scout Cookie Day is February 8!

Join your local Great Valley Girl Scouts this weekend as they celebrate the first ever National Girl Scout Cookie Day!

We will have Girl Scouts all over Malvern this weekend selling cookies while learning essential business skills. For Girl Scouts, selling cookies isn't just about fundraising.  It's an integral part of the program, giving girls opportunities for goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics. 

All cookie sale profits stay within Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania.  In their troops, girls might choose to use their profits for trips, special programs, or service projects, while the council portion goes toward camps, other programs for girls, and volunteer training and support.  It's not just a box of cookies, it's a vote of confidence in girls' futures. As one leader said "The cookies are free with a $4 donation to Girl Scouts!"

You may also make a tax deductible donation at any cookie booth to Operation Cookies From Home. Girl Scouts use these donations to send cookies to military personnel around the world. A great option if you want to watch your waistline and support Girl Scouts and the military at the same time.

Supporting Girl Scouts gets even easier! This Sunday marks our first drive-thru cookie booth! No need to get out of the car in this cold weather. Just drive into Rita's and we'll bring the cookies to you!
