Max Brenner's Chocolate by the Bald Man (Philadelphia)

One word: Chocolate! Yum! A destination in Philadelphia that you should definitely check out is Max Brenners Chocolate by the Bald Man on Walnut. It is spectacular. You walk in and are hit with the smell of chocolate.  Shannon, our friend Aidan and I trekked through the pouring rain to come here and it was worth getting drenched. To split we got the Chocolate Pizza with the works. It’s pastry dough topped with marshmallows, bananas, crushed hazelnuts, and peanut butter. The peanut butter is a bit overwhelming, and the whole dish is rather heavy, but still very good.  Second we had… one of the specials.. two waffles with ice cream, we got Chocolate and Dulce de Leche, on top of that were whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and chocolate crunchies.  It even came with a little bottle of chocolate ganache. It was AMAZING. Everyone got a drink of their own. Molly got the Chococrunch hot chocolate: dark chocolate hot chocolate with chocolate crunchies in it. It sounds odd but it was delectable! Shannon got a dark chocolate mocha that was lovely as well. And all hot drinks are served in cute Hug Mugs, which, as our server said, gives you an “intimate drinking experience.”  This place is a bit pricy but the service is greatmarvelous and it is a great place to go!
