CONESTOGA CREW CLUB RACING RESULTS UPDATE: This weekend's weather was the only thing racing down the Schuylkill River this past Sunday. The Philadelphia Scholastic Rowing Association lived up to its Mission Statement of being, "… dedicated to providing fair, safe and competitive rowing experiences to high school teams and their members", by canceling Sunday's 3rd race of the Manny Flick/Horvat Regatta series due to the dangerous current conditions.  With 24 mph winds gusting up to 32 mph and often heavy rain, the conditions far exceeded US Rowing's Safety Guidelines recommendation that boats do not row in whitecaps or winds of 12 knots or higher under any circumstances. Just the same, Conestoga Crew Club's V/JV rowers were at Bachelors Barge Club by 6:20 Sunday morning, and were soon followed by the Novices, training and hitting the ergs in anticipation of being back at the starting lines next Sunday, April 6th, for the 4th Manny Flick/Horvat Regatta.  All are welcome to join CCC family and friends at CCC's Tent to cheer on Stoga Crews!
