He was employed in the import-export business in Philadelphia and also worked in sales of steel strapping and auto parts. He had a deep love for the ocean, and enjoyed traveling and sports. [Legacy.com/Daily Local]

Joseph Thomas Mullray, graduate of Malvern Prep, 81

Mr. Mullray was an avid swimmer. For many years, he was a lifeguard for the Avalon Beach Patrol. He was the youngest swimmer to win the Annual Atlantic City Pageant Ocean Swim, the nation's oldest continuous open water swimming race dating back to 1936. [Legacy.com/The Press of Atlantic City]
