Blotter: 'Barn Sale' Sign Stolen, Benz Recovered

The Mercedes SUV reported stolen earlier this month was found in Camden, NJ.

Arrest information was supplied by the Malvern Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Vehicle Theft update... The Mercedes Benz SUV reported stolen from Gallagher's Auto Service was recovered in Camden, NJ. Borough Police have a local suspect and the investigation is ongoing.  

DUI… On Jan. 19, at 5:15 p.m., police charged a 27-year-old Pottstown resident with driving under the influence after he was observed driving erratically. Officers conducted field sobriety tests after the driver parked near Woodland Avenue and King Street. He failed the tests, his Honda was taken to the East Whiteland impound lot. He was also charged with possession after police found three baggies believed to contain marijuana in his jacket pocket.

Theft... On Jan. 26, police received a report that the "Barn Sale" sign outside the business at 18 W. King St. went missing some time between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. The 3-foot-by-4-foot sign is valued at $100.
