Blotter: Condo Storage Soiled

Arrest information was supplied by the Malvern Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

DUI… On Nov. 22, just before midnight, a police observed a light blue Honda Accord on Sugartown Road south of Forest Lane crossing approximately two feet over the yellow dividing line. The officer was in the oncoming lane and had to swerve out of the way to avoid a collision, then turned around and activated his lights and siren. The Accord continued onto Paoli Pike, again crossing the center line. When the Accord finally stopped, the driver, a 27-year-old Malvern man, smelled of alcohol and had glassy eyes. He failed field sobriety tests and was arrested for DUI, driving with a suspended license, fleeing and eluding police, careless driving and failure to drive on the right side of the roadway.

Criminal mischief… On Nov. 25, at 9:26 a.m., a resident of Kingsbury Condominiums reported that someone had urinated on the belongings in her storage unit. Police are investigating the incident and have identified a person of interest, another Kingsbury resident who has harassed the woman in the past.
