Blotter: Public Drunkenness on King, Van Full of Grease
Arrest information was supplied by the Malvern Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Public Drunkenness… On Oct. 11, at 10:57 p.m., a resident of Kingsbury Condominiums reported two males loitering suspiciously near her car in the complex's parking lot. The responding officer found two men walking from the scene. One of them, a 22-year-old borough resident, was having difficulty walking. He failed a field sobriety test and was charged with public drunkenness.

Grease-filled Van Crash on Warren Avenue: On Oct. 11, at 5:24 a.m., Station 4 Fire and EMS units were dispatched to the area of Warren Avenue and Andrews Road for an auto accident following a police pursuit. The crashed van was found to contain 250 gallons of cooking grease, about 10 gallons of which had spilled close to a nearby creek ... (Full Story & Pictures)

Accident on Warren Avenue: On Oct. 10, At 7:44 a.m., Station 4 Fire and EMS units were alerted to the 400 block of South Warren Avenue in Malvern Borough for a reported automobile accident. This was the second simultaneous call for Malvern EMS units, as Ambulance 4-1 was handling a medical emergency on the 100 block of Church Street.
