Blotter: Wallet Goes Missing at Filling Station

The following information was supplied by the Malvern Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Theft... On Aug. 31, a patron at the on West King Street left his wallet on the counter. A surveillance video shows another person taking the wallet, which contained credit cards and a small amount of cash. 

Note: Mark your calendar—The Malvern Fire Company September 11th Memorial & Public Safety Day is coming up on Saturday, Sept. 15. There will be a helicopter and vehicle rescue demonstrations, plus food and a chance for kids to wield the fire hose. Check out !  Here's the information from the  (emphasis added):

On Saturday, September 15th, the Malvern Fire Company will be holding its annual September 11th Memorial Service and Public Safety Day from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. 

Join us at 12:00 Noon for the Memorial Service as we commemorate the 11th Anniversary of the events occurring on September 11, 2001. 

Following the Memorial Service, and lasting until 3:00 p.m., the Public Safety Day will be held, in partnership with the Malvern Police Department. The Public Safety Day will showcase numerous fire, rescue and police units in the area. There will be vital safety information on hand as well as numerous displays, including a medical helicopter, vehicle rescue demonstration, and house fire demonstration
