Parents and staff at Great Valley High School were notified Friday that the district became aware of a bomb threat against the school Friday morning.
"We take every threat seriously and immediately began the implementation of our Safety Plan," Superintendent Alan Lonoconus wrote in a letter to parents and guardians. "The issue was turned over to law enforcement officers who are working collaboratively with us around this situation."
This is a developing story. Malvern Patch has reached out to East Whiteland Police and the Great Valley School District communications office. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
