Car Strikes Road Signs, Utility Pole, Police Say

The following information comes from the West Goshen Police Department.

A Downingtown man could face a summons from the West Goshen Police Department after an alleged DUI incident in December, according to a release from the police department.

According to police, officers were dispatched to Pottstown Pike and Burke Road for a reported car accident. Police on the scene say that the found a Honda had struck several street signs before striking a utility pole and stopping.

Police say that the car's driver, a man from Downingtown, was treated on the scene for minor head injuries before being transported to Chester County Hospital.

He is expected to receive a summons for DUI and traffic offenses.
