Chesco DA Named to Board of PA District Attorney Institute

Hogan, a former federal prosecutor with the Justice Department, will work as a trial advocacy instructor.

Chester County District Attorney Thomas P. Hogan has been named to the executive board of the Pennsylvania District Attorneys Institute, the District Attorney's Office announced Monday.

The PDAI trains and educates prosecutors in the commonwealth, the District Attorney's Office said. It is part of the Pennsylvania District Attorneys Association.

"It is an honor to join the executive board of the PDAI," Hogan said. "The Chester County District Attorney’s Office has an outstanding training program for prosecutors. The PDAI gives us an opportunity both to learn from other prosecutors and share our expertise.”

Hogan, a former federal prosecutor with the Justice Department, will work as a trial advocacy instructor.

Other Chester County district attorneys have served on the board of the PDAI, including District Attorneys William H. Lamb, James P. MacElree II, and Anthony A. Sarcione, the District Attorney's Office said.

“Chester County has a history of leadership among prosecutors," Hogan said. "I hope to live up to the example of my predecessors.”
