Chesco Man Held on Multiple Child Porn Charges

An East Goshen man faces 31 felony charges, including possession of child pornography.

A 31-year-old East Goshen man waived his right to a preliminary hearing in Devon District Court Wednesday morning and is being held on $150,000 cash bail in Chester County Prison.

Robert Peters Miller IV waived his right to hear evidence in the case against him and was ordered to stand trial by Magisterial District Judge Thomas Tartaglio during a brief court appearance in Devon Wednesday.

Miller faces more than 30 felony counts, including possession and dissemination of child pornography and child sexual abuse after State Police say they found explicit pornographic videos on laptop and desktop computers, a tablet and external drives seized from the home Miller shared with his mother in East Goshen.

According to an affidavit of probable cause filed in the case, State Police say Miller was present when his house was being searched and allegedly admitted to searching for downloading, and sharing child pornography over the internet.

According to court documents, the computers had videos depicting extremely graphic and violent sex acts involving girls as young as eight and as old as 14 being assaulted by adults.
