Did Police Recover Your Stolen Gadget?

If your car was broken into earlier this year, Willistown Police might have recovered your missing electronics.

are asking residents to claim electronics recovered from the home of a suspected thief.

Police recently served a search warrant at the Willistown home of a man suspected of perpetrating at least 30 thefts from vehicles earlier this year. Numerous electronic devices were seized, including cell phones, laptop computers, iPods and iPads. No GPS devices were recovered.

The items were likely stolen during a  and  the northeast corner of the township, around the Paoli and Greentree neighborhoods.

According to Det. Steve Jones, victims will have their items returned if can they produce proof of ownership, such as a receipt or a serial number. Claimed items also help bolster the case against the suspect.
