Flower Fire Stopped Before Reaching Condos
The fire occurred Friday afternoon at Kingsbury Condominiums.
Malvern Fire Co. responded to a report of a fire at Kingsbury Condominiums Friday afternoon, when police on the scene reported that an outdoor fire was extending to the building.
The incident, which occurred at 4:30 p.m., is described as a "close call" on the fire company website:
Deputy 4 and Ladder 4 arrived to find fire involving a flowerbed and extending up a PVC downspout. The 1 3/4" bumper line was deployed and the fire quickly extinguished.
