Ken Fuller was a part-time coach with MSA since 2007. He was informed today by MSA that he is not permitted on the grounds of Malvern Prep and, following United States Swimming mandates, he is suspended from all coaching and contact with team members.

Ken Fuller is returning for his 9th season coaching at MSA. He has a long background in competitive swimming dating back to when he was a member of MSA. Through his career Ken achieved All-American honors and became an Olympic trials qualifier. He swam locally at West Chester Henderson and Marple Newtown before moving on to Auburn University.

According to Chester County detectives, Fuller had sex with the Rustin student on at least three separate occasions between April 27 and May 5. He posed as her father and wrote fraudulent medical notes to get her out of school.

In a press release about the arrest, Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan said, "This defendant also coached other teams. If there are any other victims, the parents should report the issue to the Chester County Detectives immediately."

After his arraignment Wednesday, Fuller was unable to post and taken to Chester County Prison to await a May 22 preliminary hearing before Judge Gregory Hines:

Besides three counts of institutional sexual assault, Fuller has also been charged with corruption of minors, furnishing alcohol to a minor and endangering the welfare of children.

Anybody with information on the case should contact Chester County Detective Matthew Gordon at 610-344-6866.
