Malvern Man Arrested for Allegedly Stealing Motorbike
A 24-year-old man was arrested after taking the item from a Strafford K-Mart, according to Tredyffrin Police.
According to Tredyffrin Police, a Malvern man was arrested for retail theft on Dec. 7 after allegedly stealing a motorbike from a K-Mart in Strafford. When police found the 24-year-old suspect, they discovered several other items in his possession that had been stolen from different stores.
He was charged with several counts of retail theft, as well as receiving stolen property and theft by unlawful taking, and arraigned before Judge Thomas Tartaglio in District Court 15-1-02. The man was taken to Chester County Prison after failing to post 10 percent of $25,000 bail.
He wasn't the only Malvern resident caught stealing from that K-Mart recently. A 59-year-old woman was arrested for theft on Dec. 11 after she was observed allegedly stuffing items into her personal bag.
