Malvern Police Blotter: Drinking at the Battlefield
The following arrest information was supplied by the Malvern Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Public Drunkenness… On Oct. 18, just after midnight, Samuel Charsha and Christopher Barmby were cited for public drunkenness at Paoli Memorial Park.
Harassment… Police are investigating a report from Oct. 21 of an East Whiteland man being allegedly harassing a Malvern female. The victim reported the man was sending threatening correspondence via US Mail.
DUI… On Oct. 22 at 11:08 p.m., Joshua Gerhard, 31, was pulled over for running a stop sign, subsequently failed field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI.

Assault… Oct. 23, police arrested a man for simple assault after his girlfriend claimed he punched and strangled her.
Underage drinking… On Oct. 28, four juveniles were cited for underage drinking at the Paoli Memorial Grounds.

Assault... Police are investigating an Oct. 30 assault between two females that occurred at a home on the 200 block of Miner Street between two females.
Underage Drinking... On Oct. 30, three juveniles and 18-year-old James Hurley were cited for underage drinking on the 500 block of Highland Avenue.
