Malvern Police Blotter: In the Park After Dark

The following arrest information was supplied by the Malvern Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Burglary… On April 13, a resident on the 200 block of Monument Avenue reported that her home had been burglarized between 12:15 and 2 p.m. Police found no signs of forced entry. Nothing in the home was out of order, except for $100 cash and jewelry of unknown value, all of which was taken from a bedroom.

Assault… On April 19, police responded to a report of an assault on the 200 block of Booksellers Court. Peter Druian, 65, was charged with simple assault. He was arraigned before Judge Chester Darlington and released on $10,000 unsecured bail.

Ordinance violation... Four juveniles were cited just before 9 p.m. on April 20 at Paoli Memorial Park, a.k.a Paoli Battlefield, at 500 Monument Avenue. They were cited for violation of ordinance No. 139-2, being in a park past posted hours.
