The following arrest information was supplied by the Malvern Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Theft... On March 20, a resident of Kingsbury Condominiums reported that several items, valued at $200, had been stolen from his vehicle some time during the previous night. Among the items reported missing were a wallet containing a driver's license, credit cards and cash, and a Sirius XM radio charger and cradle.

Drug violation… On March 24, at 6:10 a.m., an officer on speed detail pulled over a vehicle for traveling 50 mph on Paoli Pike, with a posted speed limit of 35 mph. When the officer spoke with the driver, he smelled the odor of marijuana. The driver, Michael Trent Thornton, of West Chester, admitted to smoking marijuana after leaving work, according to police. He was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, speeding, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving with a suspended license and operating without a certificate of inspection.
