Malvern Police Blotter: Where Have All the Flowers Gone?
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
Theft... On May 23, a woman on Raffaela Drive reported that on May 18, her purse was stolen from her vehicle, which was unlocked and parked in her driveway. The black canvas messenger-style bag had green lettering and a green tree symbol on it. It contained credit cards, her social security card, $200 cash and a red day planner.
Theft… On May 25, police received a call from at 121 W. King St., reporting that someone took two hanging baskets of flowers valued at $49.90 total. The theft had happened some time after closing the previous day.
Drug possession... On May 28 at 12:25 a.m., police pulled over a Dodge sedan on the 200 block of King Street for speeding and issued a citation to the driver. The officer noticed the smell of marijuana, and searched the purse of one of the female passengers with her permission. He found a small amount of marijuana. The other female passenger, 19 years old, was arrested for possession of alcohol.

Theft… On May 28 around 11:10 a.m., a father and son reported their bicycle had been stolen from near their apartment complex on West King Street. The Diamondback children's bike was worth about $200.
