Man Tries to Break in to Three Houses in One Night

The following information is provided by the West Chester Police Department.

A Philadelphia man allegedly tried to break into three houses in a single night before being arrested, according to a report from the West Chester police department.

According to reports, a 22-year-old Manayunk man attempted to break in the front door of a house on the 3000 block of W Biddle Street when police were called. The man reportedly threw a skateboard through the house’s front window and fled.

A few minutes later, the same man was seen trying to break into a house on the 300 Block of Chestnut Street by climbing in the second-floor window, according to reports. Police say that the man climbed on the roof and was attempting to enter the home when the homeowner was alerted and scared the man off.

Less than an hour later, the same man was reportedly trying to access a house on the 500 block of N New Street when police arrested him.

The man was arrested on three counts of attempted burglary.
