Updated: TD Bank in Paoli Robbed

The male robber made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

The TD Bank in Paoli was robbed Tuesday afternoon. According to Willistown Police, a man entered the bank, implied he had a weapon and left with an unspecified amount of money. He escaped on foot, heading west on Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue).

A K9 unit from the Chester County Sheriff's office aided in a search for the suspect, but he had not been apprehended as of 7:30 p.m. Officers from East Whiteland, Malvern Borough, Easttown and Tredyffrin also aided in the search effort.

More details and a surveillance photo of the suspect is expected for public release soon.
