Teen Driver Cited for DUI, Possession of Pot, Police Say
Also in police reports, police from multiple departments seek a man with a knife.
The following arrest information was supplied by the Malvern Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
DUI… On April 27, at 1:10 a.m., police stopped a Jeep on West King Street near Crest Avenue for a nonfunctioning brake light. A 26-year-old Philadelphia man exhibited signs of intoxication, failed a field sobriety test and was charged with DUI.
DUI… On April 28, police stopped a 16-year-old male driver who police say was driving 52 mph in a 25 mph zone on Old Lincoln Highway. The officer smelled alcohol and marijuana and observed signs of intoxication, including bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. The driver, a Florida resident, was cited for DUI and underage consumption.
