Tractor Trailer Hits Barrier, Slows Traffic on Route 202
The accident occurred Friday afternoon near Route 29.
A tractor trailer struck a barrier on Route 202 near Route 29 in East Whiteland early Friday afternoon, 6ABC is reporting:
The impact damaged the truck and caused 2 of the concrete barriers to fall into one of the southbound lanes.
Both northbound lanes were blocked as a tow truck moved in to haul away the big rig.
The attached Pennsylvania Department of Transportation traffic camera photo, captured at 3 p.m., shows traffic restricted to one lane in each direction as crews work to repair the damaged divider. The truck has been removed from the scene.
There was no word on what caused the driver to lose control of the truck, according to 6ABC.
