Contract Awarded For Noise Study Of Mulch And More

Nearby residents have complained about the noise coming from the company's mulch and stonework business.

At the Oct. 18 Malvern Borough Council meeting, the council announced that GAI Consultants would conduct a noise study of on Pennsylvania Avenue.

Residents on Karen Drive had previously complained about the noise pollution and came before the Zoning Hearing Board to see what the options were. The Zoning Hearing Board decided a noise study should be conducted on the business, Mayor Gerard McGlone explained.

Council members, including Zeyn Uzman and McGlone, noted that they could hear the noise from the mulch and stonework business from as far away as their own homes.
