Did Your Family Fight In the Civil War?

Find out at the Civil War Road Show, which ends Sunday.

Visitors to the , which wraps up its three-day stop in Chester County Sunday, can learn more about their family connection to the war.

The show is being held in the parking lot of this weekend, but inside the academic building, a local chapter of Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War are armed with air conditioning and a wealth of genealogical information.

Visitors are encouraged to stop in and bring information about their grandparents, including full name, birthdate and birthplace. Any information about their service in the Civil War, including dates, locations and military unit, will help produce results.

The genealogical research, like the rest of the Civil War Road Show, is free and open to the public.

The event runs Sunday, noon to 6 p.m. The university is located at 30 E. Swedesford Road in Malvern.
