I will host my annual 55 and Up Expo again this year but, due to popular demand, I am adding an evening session on Thursday for those who work and have been unable to attend in the past.
As always, I will bring together over 50 public and private vendors that serve the 55+ population. Our featured speaker for Thursday evening is Janet Colliton of Colliton Law Associates, who specializes in Elder Law, Medicaid and Estate Planning. She will address "Things You Should Know Before Applying for Social Security."
In addition, we will have memory screenings for early detection of Alzheimer's and vaccines, SEPTA transit cards (for those 65 years or older), and an auctioneer from Smith Auction House who will appraise up to 3 treasured items.
