Malvern Post Offices Will Stay Open
The USPS is reviewing 3,700 retail locations, looking for branches to close.
Post offices in the Malvern area (zipcode 19355) are not on a new list of branches facing a review process that could result in closure.
The United States Postal Service released a list Tuesday morning of 3,700 retail locations that will be evaluated as part of a "right-sizing" process.
These offices were not on the list:

- 33 W King St, Malvern
- 4030 White Horse Rd, Malvern
There are 32,000 retail offices nationwide, according to the USPS. Nearby offices that are facing the review include branches in Wayne, Manayunk and Roxborough.

As more customers choose to conduct their postal business online, on their smart phones and at their favorite shopping destinations, the need for the U.S. Postal Service to maintain its nearly 32,000 retail offices — the largest retail network in the country — diminishes.
