Schools Budget Road Show in East Whiteland Thursday Night

Great Valley School District superintendent Alan Lonoconus will visit the administration building Thursday evening to discuss the district's budget with residents.

The begins at 7 p.m., and the address is 209 Conestoga Road, just south of the Route 202 underpass. This meeting is the second of three scheduled budget discussions. The final meeting in the series will be held in Charlestown on March 27.

In January, the school board a roughly $79.2 million preliminary budget for the 2012-13 school year. At its Feb. 21 meeting, the superintendent laid financial projections that will require on the scale of up to $3 million per year.
