National Burger Month: Gourmet Fun Between the Buns

Beer & Burger Pairing Dinner at Paoli's Redhound Grille with Lansdale's Round Guys Brewing. Thursday, May 2nd / 7pm.

The weather has been teasing us with spurts of those quintessential grilling evenings: pink skies, mouthwatering smells, "who wants cheese?" and extra pickles. Although growing up, my family's grill nights were more like bug bites and black smoke. Which is why I'm in the office and not in the kitchen at Redhound Grille.

May is National Burger Month. Yes, there is such a glorious celebration. Redhound is known for their award-winning burgers including an award from Patch readers for "Best Burger" for the Hounder Burger, so it's a given Redhound's kitchen is kickin' it up a notch and planning something special.

It's time for some gourmet fun between the buns. Mark your calenders for Thursday, May 2nd as Redhound kicks off National Burger Month with Beer & Burger Pairing Dinner with Round Guys Brewing.

Round Guys and Redhound owners will both be in attendance to answer questions and offer tips for pairing and grilling. Be sure to preregister as there are limited seats. Pre register at $35 (all inclusive of tax and gratuity) or $40 at the door (all inclusive of tax and gratuity). You may register by calling (484)318-8047 or stopping in Redhound. There is one seating - at 7pm. There will be four gourment sliders with unique side paired with four nine oz. Round Guys beers and a beer-infused dessert.



1. Wallflower Wheat Beer paired with Jerk Mahi Burger: Ground Mahi Mahi with Jerk seasoning topped with Chipotle Mayo and Mango Salsa served with a side of Plantain Fries


2. Moison Beer paired with the Oxymoron Burger: A Veggie Burger seared in Duck Fat topped with Duck Bacon and Mozzarella Cheese served with a side of Beer-Battered Onion Rings 

3. Double IPA Beer served with Short Rib Burger: Ground Short Rib Patty topped
with Barbeque Sauce and Pepper Jack Cheese served with a side of Candied Beer

4. O.G. Slacker Beer served with Hounder Burger: Ground Black Angus Beef Blended with Ground Andouille Sausage with Smoked Bacon, Aged Smoked Cheddar Cheese and Pickled Red Onions served with a side of Truffle Parmesan Fries
