Devon Prep Honors Student Athletes

More than more than 20 area Devon Prep student athletes received over 30 awards the 2014 Upper School Sports Banquet held at The Desmond Hotel in Malvern.

More than more than 20 area Devon Prep student athletes received over 30 awards the 2014 Upper School Sports Banquet held at The Desmond Hotel in Malvern.  Each coach gave a brief summary of his team’s season and presented MVP, Spirit, and special awards.  Student athletes who participated in soccer, golf, cross country, indoor track & field, basketball, spring track & field, lacrosse, baseball, tennis and swimming were recognized.

Senior James O’Shea of Broomall took home four awards including the Frank Casey Award presented by Mr. Casey himself. The Devon Prep Alumni Award for Outstanding Athletic Achievement, which honors a student who excels as both a scholar and athlete, was presented by Headmaster Rev. James J. Shea, Sch.P. to graduating senior Andrew Brekus of Newtown Square.
