Kerry Luksic Book Signing and Discussion

'A Journey to Peace with Alzheimer's'

Malvern resident Kerry Luksic will be signing copies of her memoir, "Life's Lessons from a Baker's Dozen," at Malvern Public Library.

The book is a tribute to Luksic's mother, Bobbie Lonergan, who raised 13 children and now struggles with Alzheimer's disease.

"I'll be sharing background on the book, discussing key themes, reading some excerpts, and selling/signing books," Luksic said in an email.

"[The book] shares the universal themes of faith, coming of age life lessons, large Irish Catholic family dynamics, and the unbreakable bonds between mothers and daughters."

There is also a resource section in the book for those who are affected by Alzheimer's and looking for information.
