We are pleased to offer this forum to residents of Chester County who are in transition in their careers due to disruption of employment or the desire to improve their employment situation. This event is managed by Penn State Great Valley's Office of Continuing Professional Education and sponsored by the Chester County Workforce Investment Board in cooperation with PA CareerLink, Chester County Economic Development Council and Hire One of Chester County.
Featured speakers are PA Secretary of Labor & Industry Julia Hearthway and Deputy Secretary for Unemployment Compensation Benefits Patrick Beaty who will address recent changes in UC regulations. In addition, a panel of HR professionals will discuss issues critical to the job search process and career service providers will be available to provide guidance in resume building, career counseling, interview techniques, etc.
