FBI: Malvern Man Pleads Guilty To Child Porn Distribution

Peter Zagorski thought he was corresponding with a child, but it was an undercover member of the FBI's Child Exploitation Task Force.

The FBI announced Friday that a Malvern man, Peter Zagorski, 31, plead guilty in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia to one count of distribution of child pornography.

The bureau's press release, dated May 11, matter-of-factly laid out the disturbing details of his arrest and the parameters of his coming punishment:

Zagorski appeared today before the Honorable Robert L. Wilkins. He faces a mandatory-minimum sentence of five years in prison, a maximum sentence of 20 years, and a fine of up to $250,000. Sentencing is scheduled for August 20, 2012.

Zagorski was arrested Nov. 18, 2011, after a search of his home revealed illicit videos and images. Multiple agencies coordinated with the FBI Child Exploitation Task Force on the investigation, including the U.S. Attorney's Office in Washington and the Metropolitan Police Department.
