Free Pertussis Vaccine Clinic at GVHS Until 1 p.m.

The clinic is being held at Great Valley High School through 1 p.m.

In response to the outbreak, the school district is holding a free vaccine clinic Monday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The district announced the clinic in an email to parents (attached):

As a system-wide preventative measure, the Chester County Health Department will offer a free vaccine clinic at Great Valley High School on Monday, January 30th. The clinic will be open from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and is available to ALL Great Valley School District families and staff members. Note that a student must be at least 11 years old to receive the vaccine. Parents are asked to please sign the attached consent form for each child receiving a vaccine. It is recommended that a copy of the child’s immunization record is also provided.

Vaccines are provided free of charge for children under the age of 18. Clinic hours are Tuesday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. It is essential that you bring a copy of your child’s immunization records. The Tdap is also available free of charge for adults.
