GVHS Senior Named 'Outstanding Volunteer'

Great Valley High School Senior, Alexandra "Sasha" McCarthy, was presented with an Outstanding Volunteer Award by the Brandywine Valley Association (BVA), at their 86th Annual Event at the Mendenhall Inn.  

She was recognized for her outstanding work with children at the BVA Summer Camp and Aftercare program. She was also commended for her academic achievements, extracurricular interests, and outstanding dedication to helping children learn.  Sasha is planning to study Elementary and Middle Grades Education at West Chester University next fall.
