The above graphic compiles the most recent data regarding the number of students per instructor by district from the National Center for Education Statistics

During the 2010-2011 academic year, the Lower Merion School District had the lowest comparative ratio, while the Philadelphia Area School District had the highest comparative ratio.

All of the pupil to teacher ratios at the regional school districts remained below the national average that year.
