Oct. 11 Is the Last Day to Register to Vote in the November Election

It's too late to register by mail, but there is still time to register.

Today is the deadline for registering to vote in Pennsylvania's November 2011 election.

In the , there are contested school board seats, Len Matty is running to replace Virginia McMichael on the East Whiteland Board of Supervisors, and there are six Malvern Borough Council candidates running for four open seats. There are also county-wide elections for judges, Prothonotary, Commissioners, Recorder of Deeds, Register of Wills, and Sheriff. There is also a state-wide race for District Attorney.

If you are a first time voter, new resident, or want to change your party registration, time's running out fast. If you are not registered by Tuesday October 11 you will not be permitted to vote in the municipal elections on November 8.
