A Malvern school is finding itself in pretty exclusive company.
St. Patrick School, a private, Catholic k-8 school in the borough, has been recognized at a 2013 National Blue Ribbon school, based on its academic record.
The distinction places the school in the top 15 percent for reading and math comprehension in its students.
“The award acknowledges and validates the hard work of St. Patrick School including the students, educators, families and the Malvern community,” the school said in a release.
Of the 286 schools across the country to receive the honor, only 50 award winners, St. Patrick included, are private, non-public schools.
