Talk About Commitment! Chesco Girl Never Missed a Day of School

The teen says that she naturally got sick over the years, but those illnesses always conveniently occurred during school breaks.

Some mornings it's harder to get out of bed than others. But one Chester County student persevered every day.

Danielle Stelzer, 17, who recently graduated from Coatesville Area High School, never missed a day of school.

Not once in 13 years. Kindergarten through senior year, Stelzer was there, The Daily Local News says.

Stelzer's father was sick as a child, missing a lot of school, so he encouraged his children not to miss class if they could help it, the Daily Local News said.

Stelzer says that she naturally got sick over the years, but those illnesses always conveniently occurred during school breaks.

Stelzer will be attending Delaware County Community College in the fall, she told The Daily Local News.
