5Ks and Other Ways to Break a Sweat in September

A quick list of local runs in and around Malvern in the coming month.

Looking to stretch your legs this September? You have plenty of interesting options: You can run a marathon while half-submerged in a pool (if you can afford it), or complete a half-marathon alongside Amish runners through bucolic Lancaster County.

There are two Malvern area runs in the coming month. On Sept. 18, take a run through the Great Valley Corporate Center while you help raise funds for East Whiteland firefighters at Run For Your Life. Head to Sugartown Elementary on Sept. 30 to join in the fourth annual Zane's Run and help honor the memory of a special Malvern resident.

Love the Run for Scouting! They give you an ice cream bar when you are done. Can't beat that! And it is close to home.
