While Independence Day plans revolve around parades, barbecues and fireworks, the holiday may also shift normal garbage schedules. Check below to find out if you may need to alter your plans.
In East Whiteland and Willistown, the purchase of trash collection service is the responsibility of residents. Many companies serve the Great Valley:
- Waste Management will not operate on Thursday and services will be one day delayed the rest of the week.
- AJ Blosenski will collect on Saturday, July 6.
- Republic Services / Allied Waste will collect one day late (see below).
- Charles Blosenski Disposal
- Ches-Mont Disposal will have a one-day service delay.
- Galante Hauling, Inc.
- J. P. Mascaro and Sons will collect Friday instead of Thursday for once-per-week, or on the next collection day for twice-per-week.
In Malvern Borough, trash collection is handled by Republic Services:
As a general rule, holidays push our residential pickup schedules back one day with regular schedules resuming the following week.
