Conestoga Road Closed Through Wednesday Morning
Blasting and bridge work is keeping the East Whiteland road closed.
The following information comes from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation:
Conestoga Road will be closed at the U.S. 202 Interchange in East Whiteland Township, Chester County, from 8 p.m. tonight (Dec. 17) to 5 a.m. Wednesday (Dec. 18) for removal of concrete beams from the overhead U.S. 202 bridge.
PennDOT’s contractor will remove three beams from the southbound Route 202 overpass, which currently is being rebuilt as part of the widening and reconstruction of the southbound side of Route 202 between Route 401 and Route 30.
